Disney Dreamlight Valley features seasonal challenges that bring unique rewards to players during the annual Eggstravaganza event. Among these special event tasks, the Spring Taste Test duty stands out as a fun culinary puzzle that requires players to prepare and consume specific holiday dishes. Completing this objective rewards players with exclusive festive items to decorate their valley homes.

Gathering the Required Spring Ingredients

To successfully tackle the Spring Taste Test challenge, players must collect three distinct seasonal egg types alongside standard ingredients. Wild Spring Eggs spawn naturally across the ground in various biomes, while Egg-cellent Fruit can be harvested from newly appeared bushes. Additionally, players must craft and plant V-EGG-etable Seeds to harvest the third essential event ingredient.

Alongside the event-exclusive eggs, players will need a few common ingredients to finish cooking the required meals. Basil can easily be gathered from the Peaceful Meadow, while Cocoa Beans grow on trees in the Sunlit Plateau or Glade of Trust. Sugarcane or its seeds can be purchased directly from Goofy's Stall along Dazzle Beach.

Cooking the Three Event Recipes

The first recipe needed for the challenge is Spring Mimosa Eggs, which requires combining a Wild Spring Egg, an Egg-cellent Fruit, a Spring V-EGG-etable, and Basil. This dish serves as an essential component of the event duty.

Next, players must prepare Spring Chocolate by combining a Spring V-EGG-etable with Sugarcane and a Cocoa Bean at any cooking station. The final dish is the Spring Egg Bowl, which uses all three event eggs plus Sugarcane and Cocoa Bean to complete the recipe set.

Completing the Quest and Claiming Rewards

Once all three seasonal meals have been successfully cooked, players must eat each of them to satisfy the quest requirement. Simply storing or gifting the dishes will not trigger completion for this specific Dreamlight duty.

After consuming all three dishes, the Spring Taste Test challenge will automatically be marked as complete in the event tab. Players will immediately receive the Spring Tableware reward to add to their decorative collection.
