The annual Eggstravaganza event brings seasonal cheer and unique challenges to Disney Dreamlight Valley, prompting players to gather special event-exclusive items. Among these duties, the Spring Taste Test stands out as a rewarding task that tests your culinary skills. Completing this quest requires gathering event eggs, acquiring standard ingredients, and preparing specific seasonal dishes.
Gathering the Seasonal Event Ingredients
To prepare the required recipes, you must collect three distinct types of event eggs scattered around the valley. Wild Spring Eggs spawn directly on the ground across various biomes, while Egg-cellent Fruit can be harvested from newly appeared bushes. The third type, Spring V-EGG-etables, must be grown from crafted seeds using the collected eggs and Dreamlight.
Alongside the event-specific eggs, you will need a few basic ingredients found throughout the valley. Make sure to pick up fresh Basil from the Peaceful Meadow and Cocoa Beans from the Sunlit Plateau. Additionally, purchase Sugarcane or its seeds from Goofy's Stall at Dazzle Beach to complete your ingredient inventory.
Cooking the Spring Taste Test Dishes
The Spring Taste Test quest demands that you cook three specific dishes using your gathered ingredients. The first meal is the Spring Egg Bowl, which combines Wild Spring Eggs, Egg-cellent Fruit, Spring V-EGG-etables, Sugarcane, and Cocoa Beans. Mixing these items at any cooking station will successfully produce the bowl.
Next, you must prepare the Spring Mimosa Eggs using Wild Spring Eggs, Egg-cellent Fruit, Spring V-EGG-etables, and Basil. Finally, assemble the Spring Chocolate by combining a Spring V-EGG-etable, Sugarcane, and a Cocoa Bean. Having all three meals prepared in your inventory marks the completion of the cooking portion of the quest.
Completing the Quest and Claiming Rewards
Cooking the three seasonal dishes is only part of the challenge, as completing the quest requires consumption. Open your inventory and have your avatar eat each of the three prepared meals. It is important to eat them yourself, as gifting them to village residents will not count toward quest progression.
Once all three event meals have been consumed, the Spring Taste Test task will automatically complete in your event menu. As a reward for your efforts, you will unlock the exclusive Spring Tableware item to decorate your home. This reward serves as a stylish reminder of your participation in the seasonal celebration.
